At the heart of Africa, Uganda has itself been ravaged by a brutal civil war, and the small country shares borders with Sudan, Congo, Rwanda and Kenya. Its Rangers patrol these borders and protect internal peace.
Henning Gloystein is a British/German journalist and photographer based in London, UK. He has worked on assignments in Colombia, East Timor, Africa, the Middle East, the US and in Europe for European and Latin American publications. He is also the author of Three Borders, a book on remote border regions of Colombia (Athena Press, 2007).
